St Matthew’s Anglican Church Tours
An opportunity to explore this historic precinct in Windsor.
Defenders of Thompson Square in collaboration with St Matthew's and the Hawkesbury Historical Society is offering guided tours of the church, belltower and cemetery in June, August and October, 2024.
Tour dates and times:
Sunday 23 June, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Sunday 18 August, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Sunday 20 October, 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Cost: $50.00 per person for a two-hour* tour comprising church, bell tower and cemetery.
*Participants should allocate two and a half hours for the complete tour, to allow comfortable arrival and movement between sections of the tour.
Maximum of 10 participants per tour, and one tour only offered on each advertised date.
60% of all funds raised will be donated to the St Matthew’s conservation fund.

Age Restriction
18 + Participation in the tour is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older
Cancellations and Refunds
Refundable Cancellations: To receive a refund, cancellations must be requested at least five days before the tour date. Please email defenderstours@gmail.com for refund requests.
Cancellation by Organizer: In the event that we cancel a tour, we will offer participants the choice of a refund or placement in the next advertised tour date.
Non-Refundable-Cancellations: Cancellations made less than five days before the tour date are non-refundable.
Please Note:
Mobility: The tour involves climbing steep, narrow stairs with no handrails and walking on uneven ground.
